1.  THESE TERMS

1.1  These are the terms and conditions on which we supply products to you, whether these are goods, services, or digital content. 
1.2  Please read these terms carefully before you submit your order to us. These terms tell you who we are, how we will provide service      to you, how you and we may change or end the contract, what to do if there is a problem and other important information. If you think that there is a mistake in these terms, please contact us to discuss. 


2.    INFORMATION ABOUT US AND HOW TO CONTACT US
2.1  We are Main Event Wedding shows Ltd registered in England. Our company registration number is 7685729 and our registered office is at Winghams House, 9 Freeport Office Villlage, Braintree, Chelmsford, Essex, CM77 8YG. Our registered VAT number is 116005073. 
2.2   You can contact us by emailing info@mainweddingsandevents.co.uk 
2.3   If we must contact you, we will do so by telephone or by writing to you at the email address or postal address you provided to us in your entry. 
2.4  When we use the words "writing" or "written" in these terms, this includes emails.

3. YOUR CONTRACT WITH YOU

3.1  Our acceptance of your entry will take place when process your online entry, we will email you to accept it, at which point a contract will come into existence between you and us. 


4. YOUR RIGHTS TO MAKE CHANGES
If you wish to make a change to the entry you have chosen, please contact us. We will let you know if the change is possible. 


5. PRICE AND PAYMENT
5.1 The price of the product (which includes VAT) will be the price set out in the Order or our acceptance of it. We take all reasonable care to ensure that the price of the product advised to you is correct. 
5.2 If the rate of VAT changes between your order date and the date we supply the product, we will adjust the rate of VAT that you pay, unless you have already paid for the product in full before the change in the rate of VAT takes effect.
5.3 We accept payment with Credit/Debit cards. You pay on-line when you submit your entry. To enter the awards, you must make an advance payment in full for your entry fee at the time you enter the awards. 

5.4 We will collect the funds from the entrants. All Entry Fees paid are non-refundable under any circumstance.


6. OUR RESPONSIBILITY FOR LOSS OR DAMAGE SUFFERED BY YOU
6.1 If we fail to comply with these terms, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking this contract or our failing to use reasonable care and skill.
6.2  We do not exclude or limit in any way our liability to you where it would be unlawful to do so. This includes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or the negligence of our employees, agents or subcontractors; for fraud or fraudulent    misrepresentation; for breach of your legal rights in relation to the products and for defective products under the Consumer Protection Act 1987.

7.    HOW WE MAY USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION 

7.1    We will only use your personal information as set out in our privacy policy: https://www.essexweddingawards.co.uk/privacy-policy .
7.2    We will only give your personal information to third parties where the law either requires or allows us to do so.

8.    OTHER IMPORTANT TERMS

As a recipient of the Essex Wedding Awards, you are granted the privilege of utilizing your awarded title and the EWA heart logo commencing from the awards ceremony, where the winner’s presentation takes place.

This must be used in conjunction together with the title and logo provided.

You are permitted to actively publicize this achievement, ensuring the incorporation of the Essex Wedding Awards Logo accurately reflecting the year in which you received this prestigious accolade.

The converted Essex Wedding Awards logo functions as a trademark, and it is imperative that the colors remain unaltered during the promotion of your accomplishments.

 If the event is cancelled for whatever reason, where possible we will look to seek an alternative date. If the event is cancelled or postponed due to circumstances beyond the control of the company, they are not liable for any losses incurred by the customers who have entered. 

In such cases where the event may have to be postponed, it is our policy to offer an alternative date for the event, no refunds will be given.  Under such circumstances the company is entitled to retain the whole, or some of the sums paid to them to cover expenses incurred by the company in connection with the event. 
Customers who have entered shall indemnify the company against all costs, charges, losses and expenses, proceedings or claims arising out of any infringement of the right of any third party, including damage and injury to any property or person whatsoever.

     

If the company concludes that the behaviour of any guest to or their staff, agents or contractors is unacceptable, the company and staff will be required to leave the event and no refund will be given.

The Essex Wedding Awards reserves the right to change the members of the judging panel at any time. The judging panel’s decision is final and cannot be appealed or contested.
